Architect duties and responsibilities and qualifications

Plan and implement projectsMonitor projects from beginning to endAlways strive towards high quality, innovative and functional designPut together design proposals depending on clients' needs and wantsMeet with clients to identify requirementsServe as an advisor and give ideas to clientsProduce blueprintsMake corrections when neededPerform regular site visits to ensure project successArrange project specificationsKeep budgets in checkEnsure that all the work is carried in accordance with specific standardsStay up to date with latest trends and best practices

Architect requirements and qualifications

Previous working experience as an Architect for x yearsMA in ArchitectureExcellent portfolioIn-depth knowledge of building and construction process and operationsFamiliarity with relevant legal regulationsOutstanding drawing skillsHands-on experience with design computer programs such as Adobe Photoshop or similarGreat attention to detailCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skills
