Detail Engineering:

Planning, Design, Review, and Monitoring

Plan Engineering deliverables and prepare Master Drawing List (MDL), monitor Engineering progress of projects and take proactive actions to complete designs on or before of Schedule. Carry out design review of the important critical elements Provide Value Engineering and Optimization ideas and conduct workshops for implementation Bring in best practices in Design and Engineering aspects

Metro Power Supply

TSS/ RSS/ ASS - Prepare/guide the design team to prepare the SLD, general arrangement drawings, electrical layout, sections, EKD, DSLP, Earthing Layout, cable trench layout, switch yard illumination, cable schedule, bill of materials (BOMs). Should be well versed with various busbar schemes. Review equipment vendor’s drawings/documents. Should also be able to guide the design team to review the equipment vendor’s drawings. Prepare design calculations/ drawings related to PSI (TSS/AMS/TSS/ASS) and should also be able to guide the design team Able to review and understand the General Power supply Diagram, Traction Sectioning Diagram etc. Prepare the detailed BOQ for PSI. Support to M&BD team during BIDs/Tender for preparation of Tender drawings and BOQ.  Know about protections and relays, relay settings. Support to procurement team for finalizing the vendors, and validation of technical offers. Also, able to prepare RFQs of various equipment. Coordination with internal team and Customers.

Design Management and Technical Leadership

Leading a mid-size team of design engineers/ draught’s person and developing the team to take up challenging assignments Provide technical guidance to site engineering team and coordinate with client (PMC/Railway) for approval design drawings. Capable of leading a team and handling multiple projects/ multiple activities. Review the workload with individual engineer/ sub-team and manpower planning

Knowledge and exposure

Should have sound knowledge of Indian Railway ACTM & RDSO Standard and latest development in RSDO/IR/Metro Should have knowledge of modification works in PSI/OHE Experience working with RVNL/CORE/PGCIL/Metros/DFCCC

Pre-Bid Design: -

Study of tender documents and to prepare technical queries Working out optimized BOQs, comparison with client provided quantities and helping bidding team in putting most competitive bid. Review of tender BOQ prepared by team, critically analyze and provide guidance to the team Taking lead in any technical discussion with customer or Vendor. Preparing management report on engineered quantity and participate in tender discussion with management
