JOB DETAILS One of our cients, a reputed KPO based in Chennai, is looking to hire Market Research Analysts with outstanding organizational and research skills. Market Research Analysts are expected to be focused individuals with a strong proficiency in math and sound business acumen. Market Research Analysts should be exceptional communicators and intuitively recognize patterns with a keen interest in providing purposeful and accurate insight into consumer behavior and competitors’ strategies. Candidates should exhibit critical thinking skills, strong IT skills and a thorough attention to detail. Responsibilities: 1. Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends. 2. Assist in the development of marketing plans. 3. Conduct research on specific market conditions. 4. Analyze consumer preferences to determine the potential sales of a product or service. 5. Analyze prices, methods of marketing and distribution. 6. Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies. 7. Devise and evaluate methods for data collection. 8. Gather data on consumers, competitors and market conditions. 9. Use statistical software to analyze and interpret data. 10. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. 11. Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids. 12. Prepare and present reports to clients and management. Requirements: 1. Graduate with good academic track record and EXCELLENT English communication skills - verbal and written 2. Open to work in night shifts 3. Analytical thinker with strong theoretical and research proficiencies. 4. Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior. 5. Thorough knowledge of marketing programs and strategies. 6. Ability to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis. 7. Solid organizational skills and detail oriented. 8. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. 9. Strong proficiency in math, web analytics and business research tools. 10. Brilliant written and verbal communication skills. 11. Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format. 12. Proficient in Microsoft Office, databases and statistical packages.
