Hyperion HFM Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Hyperion HFM Solution Architect to join our leading retail client based in Dubai on a contract basis. Currently working on 4 live planning applications, you would be maintaining Group Hyperion Planning Applications and working closely with operation teams for application reporting and enhancement.

As an HFM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of our client's HFM harmonisation programme. You will be responsible for designing and implementing HFM solutions for our stakeholders to merge 4 existing HFM installs into one Group level HFM working alongside a system implementor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HFM implementations and experience working as a solution architect in a large-scale Oracle EPM (HFM, Planning, Budgeting etc.) deployments.

Key responsibilities:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.

Design and deliver Oracle HFM functional architecture strategy with leading practices, in collaboration with system integration partner team throughout all phases of an HFM harmonisation/transformation programme

Provide recommendations to enhance and accelerate group level financial consolidation and financial reporting process

Collaborate with system integration partner to configure application components, including dimensions, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and application rules in line with business, functional, and performance requirements

Assist with configuring data integration, task management, process automation and interfacing activities

Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure smooth integration of Oracle HFM with other systems.

Perform QA, govern and collaborate with project teams, including system implementors, to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Provide support and guidance to development teams during the development, testing, and implementation phases.

Exercises judgment and influence on key technical decisions, standards, policies, environment selection, architecture, data flows and technical solutions.

Collaborates to define product vision, roadmap, growth and product conversion opportunities and priorities according to business value or ROI, within the context of the Finance and HFM domains.

Directs, develops, and presents to leadership and stakeholders various analyses for feature enablement in Oracle HFM.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

15+ years of overall experience with minimum 7 years implementing Oracle Hyperion applications

Strong technical knowledge of HFM and FDMEE

Demonstrated capability to architect, design and build all aspects of an HFM implementation including loading data and metadata, creating web forms, journal templates, consolidation rules, intercompany transactions, etc

Strong knowledge of the financial processes, including experience with financial planning, close, consolidations, financial reporting, and FP&A

Deep understanding of FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and top-side adjustments

Experience working as a solution architect.

Experience implementing large scale HFM solutions in Retail, Hospitality preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

Hyperion Financial Management Certification a plus
