Responsibilities:
  • CI/CD: Enhance, and maintain Jenkins-based CI system which supports multiple tech stacks like Java, Go, Lang, Python, NodeJS, iOS, and Android - devised to build > 1000 builds/day.
  • Manage the multi-env infra, deployed in AWS cloud, comprising 2000+ dockerized microservices in AWS ECS and various datastores like MySQL, Mongo, Aerospike, Redis, etc.
  • Provisioning of End-to-end setup of new microservices including public setups involving SSL Certs, Rest, and GRPC-based services.
  • Engage in overall capacity planning of applications hosted in the cloud to keep AWS costs in check.
  • Leverage modern solutions to reduce manual efforts like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Contribute to in-house developed Python applications and integrate with open-source software.
  • Manage in-house developed monitoring platform including anomaly detection platform.
  • Help your coworkers by creating technical documentation to host them under a detailed knowledge-sharing platform for continuous improvement.
  • Keep track of the latest evolving technologies in the world and leverage them to drive innovation inside the organization.
  • Engage with multiple teams; Engineering team, Live site Operations team to define and implement best practices to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in the Devops domain, preferably in a hyperscale environment.
  • Highly proficient in AWS Services (especially VPC, Route53 EC2 ECS, S3 IAM, ECS).
  • In-depth knowledge of Dockers, well-versed with practical exposure to container networking, storage interfaces, orchestration, deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience in designing and architecting highly scalable CI systems built in Jenkins, along with proficiency in source code management (GIT/Gerrit), build tools (Maven, Ant, Gradle, SBT), Static code analysis (SonarQube), Code coverage (Jacoco) -- Scripting in Groovy is must.
  • Experience in devising and working with fully automated CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android apps.
  • Experience in managing large environments utilizing modern methods (Infrastructure-as-Code) like Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
  • Experience in Python development is a huge plus, concepts like collections, object-oriented, Rest-API, modules, Django, Boto, and Celery-beat are must-haves.
  • Ability to understand application architectures, operating systems, and data stores - which can help in troubleshooting critical live site problems.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and troubleshooting at the network level using packet tracers, TCPDUMP, and Wireshark is an added advantage.
  • Experience in working productively with cross-functional teams and creating/leading cross-functional programs to bring about greater operational efficiency.
  • Strong Analytical, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders is a must-have.
