Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience in technical project management and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of complex technical projects.

Responsibilities
  •  Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms.
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer
  • Industry experience is preferred
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
  • Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Azure Functions)
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Requirements:

  • Overall experience of 10-15 years in Project management.
  • Over 5 years of Project Management experience should manage complex Fixed Bid engagements
  • Very good understanding and experience of Agile Project Management.
  • Project Management certification like PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Safe Agile is good to have

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects, including software development projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and project team members.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project resources.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP or Prince2, is a plus.
