For our Operations team in Falta, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operator. Operating, monitoring, controlling, and adjusting all equipment in the production process based on measurements or analysis of the product specifications. Stopping and starting of installations Troubleshooting small failures of machines and installations or invocation of R&M, in consultation with the Supervisor/ Manager as and when required. Packaging of product in bags, weighing and shrink/ stretch wrapping and placing packaged products with a forklift in the designated warehouse locations. Perform standardized product, process analysis, and monitor results, such that timely adjustment of the production process will take place. Reviewing with Supervisor/ Manager to get timely and safe maintenance or repairs to machinery and installations. Documenting of production information for the shift reporting, so that colleagues are informed regarding the production, analysis etc. and technical failure of installations. Observance of operating, environmental, health and safety regulations, housekeeping of equipment and work area. Ensure good housekeeping of operating area and self-involvement in housekeeping Diploma or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering/B. 5-7 years of applicable experience, preferably in midsized similar industries. Proven track record and a minimum of 3 years of experience in production process at plant level. ~ Working knowledge of SAP.
