We are looking for a dedicated, Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for designing Mechanical equipment used in chemical and pharma applications. The Mechanical Engineer’s responsibilities include working in product development group for definition of new Products/Technology, validate existing design/technology through trials and prototyping. Work with cross functional teams and visits customers for technical discussion and work around the manufacturing and assembly criterion.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform complex engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks. This includes problem-solving, preparing CAD models, building prototypes, conducting experiments, and analyzing data for products
- A Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, to understand customer needs and translate them into functional engineering solutions. Support the creation of specifications, design, and test methods for new products
- Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams on issues related to design for manufacturability (DFMA), manufacturing capability, and assembly/testing methodology.
- Resolve complex engineering problems promptly, ensure effective communication within the team, and manage execution activity timelines using project management technique.
- Willing to take on more responsibilities, visits customers and develop application knowledge.
- Document designs calculation and testing trial results.
- Knowledge in value engineering and costing.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Should have knowledge of ASME / ISO & equivalent standard.
- Perform FEA analysis and understand the FEA analysis reports.
- Hands on approach.
- Report writing
Functional skills required to execute the role :
- CAD ( AutoCAD / Inventor / Solid works)
- GD&T Principles & methodology.
- Heat Transfer and Thermal Design
- Experience in designing static and rotating equipment.
- Structural Mechanics
- Manufacturing Processes ( Fabrication / Forging / Casting / Machining)
Education Qualifications : MTech Mechanical Engineer
Experience : 3-6 Years
