Job Description:


  • ERP Integration & Financial Closing: Oversee the integration of multiple ERP systems into unified financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate book closures with effective controls in place.
  • Management Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS reports and management presentations, along with ECL models, IndAS-compliant financials, and RBI returns, as applicable for NBFCs in the middle layer category.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Develop IndAS-compliant financial statements for statutory audits, maintaining all supporting documents required for audit purposes.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and provide necessary documentation for indirect and direct tax departments during scrutiny and assessments.
  • Process Improvement & Leadership: Develop SOPs for enhanced process efficiency and demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive improvements across functions.


Desired Skills

  • Financial Expertise: Proficiency in financial planning, cash flow management, book closure, and maintaining accounting discipline. Skilled in system implementation with a strong grasp of Ind-AS standards, Indian taxation, and experience in a start-up environment.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within larger teams.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory audits, GST and TDS, RBI compliances, and financial diligence, along with experience in supporting IPO processes.
  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Risk and Asset Management: Solid knowledge of Expected Credit Loss (ECL), asset classification, and risk loss calculations.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) required


Experience:

  • 6-8 years of experience post-qualification
  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial institution (NBFC or Banks) or with one of the Big Four accounting firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG)
