Key Responsibilities

  • iOS App Development: Lead the design and development of high-quality iOS applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and responsiveness.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, founders and backend developers, to deliver robust and scalable iOS solutions.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architectural decisions and design of new features, ensuring they align with the overall product roadmap.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to meet project goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of iOS development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped iOS applications.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C. Experience with the latest iOS SDKs and APIs.
  • Frameworks: Expertise in iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and networking libraries like Alamofire.
  • Architecture: Strong understanding of iOS application architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER) and experience with design patterns such as Singleton, Delegate, and Observer.
  • Performance: Experience with profiling tools (Instruments, Xcode profiler) and performance optimization techniques.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket, including branching strategies and code review processes.
  • Experience of building consumer tech product is a plus
  • Experience of working in startup culture is a plus
