If not Golang then candidate should be strong in at least one backend language like Java with motivation to learn and work full time on GolangHands on with unit test writing with any frameworkGood work experience in REST APIs and Microservice based architectureGood understanding on Cloud Fundamentals (GCP, Azure, AWS)Good work experience in SQL and NoSQL databasesNice to have:Understanding on Containerization based deployments/technology (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of Design PrinciplesBrief experience on Front end technologies (AngularJs, NodeJs)Experience resolving code quality issues and security vulnerability issues reported by scanning toolsKey functions:Candidate should be independent individual contributor in any of the languages, Golang / JavaAnalyze requirements, design develop & maintain software products in alignment with the technology strategy of the organizationCandidate should be able to implement new/maintain the existing project modulesAbility to do end to end feature implementation with ownership of unit test, integration test etc. to drive required qualityAbility to do effective code reviews of peersAbility to collaborate with different functions for deliverablesAbility to participate actively in technical design discussionsAbility to contribute to design standards and support designs re-use (best practices, etc.)
