Location: Work from HOME Employment Type: Fulltime- Permanent with our German Client (10 K size company) Experience: 12+ Years (with significant tenure in technical leadership) We are seeking a "Player-Coach" —a leader who can manage a multi-million dollar portfolio for German/European clients while remaining technically sharp enough to review code, define architecture, and mentor developers on Java & Cloud-Native best practices. Two Non-Negotiable Pillars Hands-On Engineering: You are not just managing timelines. You are currently capable of reading code, spotting architectural flaws in Java/Spring , and championing Clean Code principles. Strategic Portfolio Management: You have owned P&L, led QBRs, managed cross-functional teams, and handled presales/solutioning for complex enterprise accounts. Technical Must-Haves Core Backend: Deep, hands-on expertise in Enterprise Java (JEE, Spring Boot, or Quarkus). You must be able to lead architectural discussions. The "Polyglot" Edge: Hands-on familiarity with at least one secondary language: Type Script (React/Angular), Python (Fast API), or Go . Engineering Excellence: Strong advocate for TDD , CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab/Jenkins), Clean Code , and SOLID principles. Cloud & Modern Ops: Experience designing solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP using Kubernetes and Terraform. Delivery & Leadership Responsibilities End-to-End Governance: Oversee delivery for a portfolio of Mobile, Web, and Cloud projects. Manage risk, escalations, and resource allocation across distributed global teams. Client Partnership: Act as the primary strategic advisor for German stakeholders. Lead steering committees, roadmap planning, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). Technical Mentorship: Bridge the gap between product and engineering. Coach Tech Leads, review High-Level Designs (HLD), and ensure technical feasibility of proposals. Presales: Drive solutioning, estimations, and proposal defense for new opportunities within the portfolio.
