These include notable home-grown brands such as Sun & Sand Sports, Dropkick, Supercare Pharmacy, Farm Fresh, Klassic, and international brands like Nike, Columbia, Converse, Timberland, Vans, Mama Sita's, and McCain.What will you do:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant to lead and support the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP solutions, primarily within the Sales and Distribution (SD) modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning SAP functionalities with business requirements, enhancing supply chain processes, and driving digital transformation initiatives across procurement, inventory management, logistics, and sales functions.Responsibilities:SAP Configuration:• Configure SAP SD modules to align with specific business requirements.• Customize standard SAP functionalities to enhance system capabilities and meet evolving business needs.Implementation:• Lead and participate in SAP implementation projects ensuring successful deployment.• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.• Ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations during deployments.Support and Maintenance:• Provide day-to-day support for SAP SD modules including incident management, troubleshooting, and system optimization.• Work closely with end-users to capture requirements and deliver effective support solutions.Integration and Testing:• Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules and third-party applications (e.g., Coupa, 3PL, Ecommerce platforms).• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and integrity.Documentation and Training:• Maintain detailed documentation of SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.• Deliver training and support to end-users, ensuring proper utilization and adoption of SAP systems.Additional Responsibilities:• Manage change requests, enhancements, bug fixes, monitoring, and reconciliation activities for:o SAP MM – Supply Chain processes (backup for L1)o SAP SD – Sales Order processes (backup for L1)o SAP – Coupa Integration and Administration (SEA Point of Contact)o SAP – Malaysia E-Invoice Integration (SEA Supply Chain PIC)o SAP – 3PL Warehouse and Ecommerce Integration (backup for L1)Technical Competencies:• In-depth expertise in SAP MM and SD modules.• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, logistics, sales, and distribution processes.• Proven ability in integrating SAP with external applications (Coupa, 3PL, E-Invoice systems).• Proficient in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.• Solid understanding of data flows, document types, pricing procedures, output types, and interface mechanisms.• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills.• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Qualifications & Experience:• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module implementation and support.• Prior experience in the retail industry is highly preferred.• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.• SAP MM/SD module certifications are desirable.• Additional certifications in S/4HANA or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
