Team Purpose

This is a specialist position in the Cloud organization within Getronics. The business unit is responsible for maintaining and providing excellent cloud infrastructure services to customers. The cloud delivery organization works closely with bid management, pre-sales, solution & service architects to support the execution of complex solutions.

Role Purpose

The Cloud Automation Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining GTN automation platform, code and in-built framework itself. Talent would work with customers and internal stakeholders to work on automating Cloud Infrastructure right from provisioning till Day-2 operations. We are seeking an individual who has a flair for Cloud and DevOps related technologies. If you are someone who has the mindset to “automate everything” with a “go get it” attitude, we might have just the role for you.

Required Technical Skills and Experience

• More than 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and automation.

• Minimum of 3+ years of enterprise experience in developing Infrastructure automation scripts with a focus on using Terraform for IaC and Ansible for Configuration management.

• Experience in using Terraform at scale using CI/CD pipelines and Ansible Automation platform/AWX would be preferred.

• Hands on experience of Terraform with advanced concepts of using Dynamic blocks, self service, loops/meta-arguments, expressions etc ..

• Hans on experience of Ansible with advanced concepts of using privilege escalations, Jinja2 templates, Dynamic inventory, error handling etc ..

• Strong understanding of core concepts within Infrastructure management such as OS, network, protocols, database and PKI.

• Good understanding about the Public cloud infrastructure is a must and a good understanding of Hybrid environments is even better.

• Experience with SSO such as Azure AD, ADFS, Okta or others

• A strong understanding of systems, integrations and security tools and how they should interact within a cloud ecosystem

• Write scripts and automation using Python/Shell with common frameworks/modules such as OS, file manipulations, awk, sed etc ..

Certifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Azure Certified Administrator – Preferred

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate – Preferred

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible - Preferred

• ITIL and or Agile methodologies - Optional

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute
