Position: Siemens SCADA Engineer (Legacy Migration Specialist)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of legacy Siemens SCADA systems to modern platforms.
- Develop and implement migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design migration plans.
- Perform system integration, testing, and validation of migrated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA system migration.
Technical Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in Factory Link, PCS7, Win CC, HMI
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming
- Strong knowledge of SCADA protocols and communication standards.
- Knowledge of network configurations, protocols, and cybersecurity measures to ensure secure data transmission.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex systems and data to develop effective migration strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Good to have:
- Experience of working in Food & Beverages industry.
- Siemens SCADA certification
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols to ensure safe operation
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
