Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Generate and issue accurate invoices using SAP Business One.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments for timely collection.
- Record receipts, allocate payments, and reconcile customer accounts in SAP.
- Handle customer queries and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
- Prepare aging reports and provide updates on receivables to management.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders in SAP.
- Manage payment schedules and process vendor payments (checks, bank transfers, etc.).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable taxes (GST, TDS, VAT, etc.) during payment processing.
General Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for AR and AP accounts to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Provide AR/AP data for audits and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoicing, payments, and reporting processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in AR/AP workflows using SAP Business One.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and payable, with hands-on experience in SAP Business One .
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using SAP Business One modules for AR/AP and familiarity with its reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
