Job description Role & responsibilities Fabric Merchandiser, Knits primary role is to source and manage fabrics for various production needs. This role involves negotiation with suppliers, quality control, inventory management, and staying updated with market trends to ensure the best materials are procured. Responsibilities Source and procure Knits fabrics based on design requirements and market trends. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and terms. Maintain and manage fabric inventory levels. Perform quality control checks on fabrics received from suppliers. Collaborate with design and production teams to meet fabric requirements. Analyze market trends to forecast future fabric needs. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabric merchandising or a related role. In-depth knowledge of Knitted fabrics, textiles, and market trends. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
