Dear Candidate, We have urgent requirement of : Estimation Engineer - Mechanical Job location : Mumbai Required criteria & Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering 3–8 years in estimation and tendering of mechanical works (fabrication, piping, structure erection, or industrial projects). 1. Estimation & Costing Study tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to understand project scope, materials, and technical requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for refractory materials, labor, scaffolding, consumables, and equipment. Collect and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations for bricks, castables, anchors, and related accessories. Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analyses, and comparison sheets for management approval. Maintain and update cost databases for refractory materials, manpower rates, and equipment hire charges. 2. Technical Evaluation & Proposal Preparation Coordinate with design and engineering teams to confirm material selection and quantity take-offs. Prepare technical clarifications and deviation statements during tender submission. Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial bid documents as per client formats. Support value engineering by suggesting alternative materials or installation methods to optimize cost and performance. 3. Coordination & Communication Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments (procurement, planning, execution) for estimation inputs. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to collect relevant data for cost estimation. Provide estimation support and clarifications to project execution teams post-award. 4.
