You will play a key role in building smart, scalable systems that integrate multiple SaaS platforms (CRM, ERP, e-commerce, finance tools, etc.) to deliver AI-powered agents and seamless workflows for our clients. You will workclosely with the Project Manager , who will oversee coordination and priorities, ensuring that each automation is robust, efficient, and aligned with project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow design & developmentBuild advanced automation workflows usingn8nas the core platform.Integrate multiple SaaS tools (CRM, ERP, e-commerce platforms, finance tools, APIs, etc.) into seamless processes.Develop scalable solutions that can handle high volumes of data and complex logic.Ensure workflows are optimized for performance and reliability.Integration & API managementConnect external systems and services through REST, GraphQL, and Webhooks.Troubleshoot API issues, authentication errors, and data synchronization problems.Create modular, reusable nodes or functions when needed.Stay up to date with new SaaS integrations and automation possibilities.Testing & quality assuranceImplement systematic testing for each workflow before deployment.Anticipate edge cases and ensure error handling is properly configured.Debug and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.Guarantee that every automation meets the quality standards set by the Project Manager.Maintenance & continuous improvementMonitor workflows to ensure long-term stability and performance.Update and improve automations as client needs evolve.Identify opportunities for optimization (e.g., reducing API calls, improving data flows).Ensure workflows remain secure and compliant with best practices.Collaboration & reportingWork closely with the Project Manager to understand project requirements and deadlines.Provide regular updates on progress, blockers, and solutions.Collaborate with other tech team members when projects require cross-functional expertise.Ensure alignment with the overall project roadmap and client deliverables.RequirementsExperience & backgroundMinimum3+ years of proven experiencein automation development, API integrations, or backend workflows.Strong track record of deliveringcomplex automation projectsend-to-end.Solid understanding of SaaS ecosystems (CRM, ERP, e-commerce, finance tools, etc.).Technical skillsExpert-level proficiency with n8n(or equivalent automation platforms like Zapier, Make, Node-RED).Strong knowledge ofREST APIs, Webhooks, GraphQLand authentication methods (OAuth2, API keys, JWT).Ability to designscalable, modular, and reusable workflows .Proficiency withdata handling : JSON, arrays, variables, transformations.Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in automation contexts.Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms is a plus.Knowledge oferror handling, retry logic, and workflow optimization .Organizational skillsAble tomanage multiple automation projectsin parallel with strict deadlines.Highly detail-oriented, ensuring quality and robustness in every workflow.Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.Soft skillsExcellent communication in English, especially when explaining technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.Capable of working independently while maintaining close alignment with the Project Manager.Adaptable to afast-paced startup environmentwith evolving priorities.Nice to haveExperience contributing toopen-source projects(especially automation frameworks).Ability to buildcustom n8n nodesor extend the platform when required.Previous experience in startups, agencies, or client-facing automation projects.Strong interest inAI, automation, and emerging technologies .Additional InformationContract type : Full-time – Remote (India-based).Working language : English.Availability : Immediate.Compensation : Competitive package, based on experience and expertise.Main tools : n8n, APIs, SaaS integrations (CRM, ERP, e-commerce), Notion, Airtable, Slack.Why Join Us At Made to Scale, we believe the future of business lies in AI and automation.
