Job Description: Data Privacy Manager / Senior ManagerLocation: BangaloreExperience: 6+ YearsPosition Level: Manager / Senior ManagerEmployment Type: Full-TimePreferred Joining: Immediate / Early JoinersAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Data Privacy professional with strong expertise in privacy regulations, data protection frameworks, and compliance management to join our team as a Manager or Senior Manager. The role involves managing privacy projects, driving compliance initiatives, and ensuring adherence to global and regional data protection laws.Key ResponsibilitiesFor Both Manager & Senior Manager:- Lead and manage data privacy and protection programs for global clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.- Assess, design, and implement privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with GDPR, PDPL, DIFC, CCPA, and other applicable laws.- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for new projects and processes.- Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT, legal, risk, and compliance teams, to embed privacy requirements into business operations.- Handle incident response and breach management in line with global privacy requirements.- Develop and deliver training, awareness sessions, and workshops for clients and internal teams.- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholders.- Stay updated on evolving Middle East, Indian, and global data protection regulations and recommend necessary policy updates.Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager:- Lead large-scale privacy transformation programs across multiple clients and geographies.- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders on privacy strategies and risk mitigation.- Provide technical mentorship and manage a team of consultants and analysts.- Drive innovation in privacy operations, automation, and GRC integration to enhance compliance efficiency.Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience: 6+ years for Manager; 9+ years for Senior Manager.- Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance.- Hands-on experience with privacy frameworks, DPIA, PIA, consent management, and cross-border data transfers.- In-depth understanding of regulations such as GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, PDPL, CCPA, and Indian DPDP Act.- Exposure to privacy technologies and GRC platforms is desirable.- Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.- Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. preferred; MBA / legal background is a plus.Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)- CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CDPSE, ISO 27701 LA or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.Key Details- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent- Work Mode: Onsite (Bangalore)- Position Level: Manager / Senior Manager- Preferred Joining: Immediate / Early Joiners- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and skill set
