Job Title: 3rd Line Network EngineerLocation: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IndiaShift Time: UK ShiftJob DescriptionTo manage and own support tickets for existing customer servicesTo design and implement changes as per the client’s requirements.To work closely with the 2nd Line Service Desk team and the Solution Delivery team to support customers and configuration tasks.ResponsibilitiesRegular communication, verbal and written, with existing customersProvide 3rd Line support for incoming customer support queries and escalations from the 2nd Line Service DeskTo take ownership and effectively manage support tickets for incidents, changes, and service requestsTo plan and complete projects as assigned to you by the Head of 3rd Line Network Support.Documented customer solutions – CMDB, Visio documentation, technical summary write-upDR/Failover TestingTo provide support and mentoring to 2nd Line engineersProvide resources to the solution delivery team in supporting the configuration and implementation of new customer projectsOn-call rota out of hours for high-priority incidentsRequired ExperienceDemonstrable knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT levelIn-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocolsAbility to troubleshoot and isolate faults to identify root causes and bring to resolutionAdvanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocolsExperience using at least one of the following firewalls: Palo Alto, FortiGate, and Cisco ASA.This should include experience of configuring and troubleshooting access lists, NAT, IPSec and SSL VPNs.Strong knowledge of OSPF and BGP in an ISP environmentProficient in packet capture and interpretationFamiliarity with Cloud products such as Azure / Amazon AWSExperience working within a Managed Service Provider Environment.Minimum Basic experience with network automation/programing such as Ansible/PythonRequired Technical SkillSwitching; Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HP, Dell, JuniperWireless; Cisco, Meraki, ArubaSecurity; Palo Alto, Prisma, Fortinet, Cisco ASASD-WAN; Citrix, Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, NuageCisco NAC ISE, SD-A/DNAC, DOT1xCisco Nexus 7xxx, 5xxx, 2xxx series.
