Location:  Patna (65%), Delhi (15%), field (20%)
Janani Family Care (JFC) is a company with the head office location in Patna, Bihar and an office function in Delhi that specializes in family planning and safe abortion. JFC is a subsidiary of DKT International, Washington DC. JFC provides high quality family planning and sexual health products and services across 19 states in the north of India. JFC’s mission is to increase access to contraception and other family planning products by leveraging existing public and private sector channels. We achieve this through building brands, a rigorous approach to sales and marketing with a constant focus on process and cost-efficiencies in line with market demands and feedback. JFC uses commercial sales and marketing techniques to achieve a social benefit.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and oversee the quality of all products, processes and services that our organization produces and delivers. This newly created position is for an experienced professional who will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to position our brands as leaders in quality standards.
The role requires someone who has a unique ability to
·       holistically review existing process,
·       tactfully and respectfully address short comings,
·       implement and follow through with improvement plans and procedures
·       complete audit cycles as evidence and consistency for quality improvement.
The appointed person would be expected to work across the organisation supporting the sales, clinical, marketing, HR, training and financial departments.  They should be familiar with industry standards within the pharmaceutical, marketing and data protection sectors and have high attention to detail and understand the importance of honesty and accuracy of information.
Responsibilities
Ensure that relevant industry standards and safety regulations are observed
Visit and audit vendors of our commodity items
·       Uphold the QA testing process of the commodity items. Plan, instruct and overseeing the inspection and testing of products to ensure they meet specifications and deliverables
·       Ensure products and services (sales and clinics) meet customer expectations and demand
Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with relevant colleagues and know when to escalate serious breaches and self-manage others
·       Investigate reports of product quality issues, ensuring they are resolved in line with company guidelines and regulatory requirements and where not resolvable appropriate action taken to reduce harm and minimise risk
·       Develop and update procedures for capturing, investigating, and documenting product complaints
Make, implement and maintain recommendations for improvement
Review training materials and operating manuals for internal and external use ensuring clinical accuracy and appropriateness
Review marketing content and messaging prior to release
·       Develop and embed appropriate Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) and continuous improvement activities
All QA activity should be from legislation/regulatory foundations and of rationale such that without such intervention quality could be compromised
All QA activity should be cost effective in terms of risks, benefit and budget
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role
An ability to understand, interpret, and communicate with data to produce quality products
Project management skills to ensure quality and alignment by continuous progress reports
Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
Good communication skills, both verbal and written (including fluency in spoken and written English)
Excellent report writing to concisely and completely record and validate quality within the organisation
Detail orientated and action focused
An ability to transform data into actionable information and intervention from trends
