Kimbal Private Limited (formerly Crystal) is the fastest-rising Indian energy-tech enterprise, building tools to modernize the distribution grid since 2011. We are looking for a Cost Accountant who will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our cost structures. The role involves analysing production costs, preparing cost statements, maintaining cost records, and supporting management with data-driven insights for pricing and profitability decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical acumen, manufacturing cost experience, and a keen eye for process efficiency. Prepare and maintain cost sheets, variance analysis, and product-wise profitability reports. Ensure accurate inventory valuation, standard costing, and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data and insights. Conduct cost audits, reconcile cost accounts with financial accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to establish and monitor cost control mechanisms. Support management in pricing decisions, make-or-buy analysis, and CAPEX evaluation. Aligning data from procurement, production, and finance systems to maintain consistency and reliability in reporting. Driving process discipline in cost capture, allocation, and analysis across departments. CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) qualified preferred. ~2–6 years of experience in costing and management accounting in a manufacturing or energy/technology setup. ~ Strong working knowledge of cost accounting standards, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and MS Excel. ~ Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly. ~ Integrity, accuracy, and accountability in financial reporting.
