Our culture values speed, ownership, and impact — every team member plays a pivotal role in shaping the product.Role SummaryWe’re hiring a Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and optimize Base0’s core intelligence systems. You’ll work across knowledge extraction, context retrieval (Graph RAG), prompt engineering, and LLM evals & rubrics.Key ResponsibilitiesKnowledge Extraction: Build pipelines that capture work specifications, decisions, and requirements from AI conversations — distinguishing signals from noise.Graph RAG Development: Implement and optimize graph-based retrieval systems for precise, low-latency context delivery.Prompt & Agent Design: Engineer and maintain advanced multi-step prompts and workflows for extraction, synthesis, and retrieval.Evaluation Frameworks: Develop LLM-as-judge systems and rubrics to measure extraction quality, contextual accuracy, and reliability.Model Optimization: Apply fine-tuning, adapters, or lightweight training where beneficial; manage data quality and ontology standards.Production Deployment: Ensure systems run efficiently at scale (latency, cost, monitoring, reliability).Must-Have Qualifications3+ years building production LLM or generative AI systemsStrong Python engineering skillsHands-on with RAG systems, embeddings, and vector databasesProven expertise in prompt engineering and structured information extractionExperience with LLM evaluation frameworks & optimization (accuracy, latency, cost)Practical exposure to fine-tuning methods (Lo RA, adapters)Familiarity with cloud AI services (Azure Open AI preferred)Based in IndiaPreferred QualificationsExperience with Graph RAG / Neo4jFamiliarity with Lang Chain, Llama Index, or similar frameworksKnowledge graphs and ontology designExperience building multi-agent LLM systemsWhy Join Base0?We’re on a mission to eliminate the friction of context management by giving every AI you use full knowledge of your projects, preferences, and past work.
