Role Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is highly proficient in building performant and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate can work independently with minimal supervision, is a problem solver, is self-driven, and is adaptable to the fast-paced environment of a startup. As part of our lean tech team, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, influence technical decisions, and contribute directly to our growth. Your ability to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions will be key to our success.
Qualifications
Proven experience of 1-5 years in Full-Stack Development, particularly with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Experience in developing and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on mentoring and guiding junior developers.
Understanding of ESG principles and sustainability concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with Flutter & Firebase is a plus.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).
Collaborate with teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our tech stack.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices.
Work closely with the product team to ensure alignment with business goals and user needs.
