Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain IBM CICS Transaction Server.
Monitor and optimize the performance of CICS systems to ensure reliability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Implement system updates, patches, and new features while maintaining documentation.
Collaborate with application developers to support and enhance CICS applications.
Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for CICS environments.
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in CICS Transaction Server administration and system programming.
Proficiency in debugging and resolving CICS-related issues.
Knowledge of mainframe tools and utilities such as JCL, RACF, and SMF.
Experience in performance monitoring and tuning.
Familiarity with related mainframe subsystems like DB2, MQ, or IMS is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
