We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the entire scrap operations at our manufacturing plants in Bachau. This is a critical role that demands deep expertise in scrap handling within the steel industry, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, compliance, and revenue optimization.Key Responsibilities:- Oversee end-to-end scrap management processes across plant locations- Manage scrap yard operations, including segregation, storage, and logistics- Drive scrap sales through effective channels, including e-auctions and direct sales- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to scrap handling- Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to streamline scrap flow- Maintain accurate records and reporting for all scrap transactions- Implement best practices for scrap valuation and inventory controlRequirements:- Mandatory: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in scrap management within the steel industry- Proven track record in handling large-scale scrap operations- Expertise in scrap sales, e-auctions, and yard management- Strong analytical and negotiation skills- Willingness to relocate to Bachau, Bhuj- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
