This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced,entrepreneurial leader to be the first employee and thefoundational architect of our India GCC.As the Managing Director, you will be responsible forestablishing and scaling our entire India operations.You will initially lead a core team of 10-15 professionalsacross HR, Recruiting, Finance, Accounts, Pre-sales,and Marketing, with a clear mandate to grow the centerinto a strategic asset for the global organization.This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortablewith ambiguity, thrives in a startup environment,and has a proven track record of building successful GCCsfrom scratch.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Setup & Execution:Serve as the primary owner for establishing the company'slegal entity and operational footprint in India.Lead the process of setting up the initial office in a sharedworkspace in Bangalore, managing all logistical and administrative aspects.Engage and manage relationships with local authorities, legal consultants, and other external partners to ensure full compliance with Indian regulations (e.g., FEMA, Companies Act, labor laws).Develop the strategic roadmap for the GCC's growth, in alignment with the global vision set by the Founder/CEO.Team Leadership & Culture Building:Recruit, onboard, and lead the foundational team across all corporate functions.Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture that mirrors our global values.Act as a key bridge between the India team and the global headquarters, ensuring seamless communication and cultural integration.Mentor and develop the local leadership team, building a strong succession pipeline.Operational Excellence:Establish and oversee the day-to-day operations of all corporate functions within the GCC.Implement robust processes and internal controls, particularly within Finance and HR, to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.Manage the P&L for the India entity, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in collaboration with the global finance team.Stakeholder Management:Serve as the primary point of contact in India for the Founder/CEO and the global leadership team.Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including government bodies, industry associations, and potential partners in India.
