Job Title: Utility Piping Specialist (On Site)Job Location: Jagirod, AssamReports to: Project Manager / MEP LeadJob Summary:The Utility Piping Specialist is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and optimizing utility piping systems within an Semiconductor Assembly and Test facility. These systems include process gases, water, HVAC, chemical delivery, firefighting and other critical utilities that support semiconductor assembly and testing operations. The role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, along with knowledge of the specific requirements of semiconductor facilities, including contamination control, cleanroom standards, and reliability.The specialist will work closely with facility engineers, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure that utility piping systems are designed and operated efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Design & Installation of Utility Piping Systems:• Design and oversee the installation of utility piping systems, including but not limited to chilled water, process cooling water, deionized water, compressed air, process gases (N2, O2, Ar, etc.), and chemical distribution systems.• Ensure that piping layouts meet the requirements for semiconductor cleanroom environments, contamination control, and process specifications.• Work with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure proper material selection (stainless steel, Teflon, etc.), fabrication, and installation of piping systems.2. System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on utility piping systems to ensure continuous and reliable operation.• Troubleshoot and resolve piping-related issues, such as leaks, pressure drops, or contamination risks, to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.• Develop preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of piping systems and reduce the risk of unexpected failures.3. Optimization of Piping Systems:• Analyze utility consumption data and identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and lower operating costs.• Implement process improvements and system modifications to optimize piping layouts and performance, especially in relation to fluid dynamics and heat
