Job Title: Salesforce Engineer (OmniStudio)Location: ChennaiWork Mode: Hybrid – 4 Days Work from Office (WFO)Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.- Build scalable and reusable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce components and user interfaces, integrating with backend systems using Salesforce APIs, JSON, and SOAP web services.- Collaborate with Ford IT and development teams to integrate Salesforce across various business functions.- Take ownership of the release cycle, ensuring smooth deployments and version control.- Maintain comprehensive documentation, write and maintain unit tests, and adhere to Salesforce coding standards and best practices.- Ensure platform performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.- Drive and support agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.Required Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, including Salesforce multi-cloud architecture.- Strong hands-on experience with:- Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) – FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures.- Apex (classes, triggers).- Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.- Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and system integrations.- Proven experience developing and deploying managed packages.- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.- Experience working within a structured development environment and following DevOps practices.- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.Nice to Have- Salesforce certifications – at least 2 certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Developer, OmniStudio Developer).- Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe frameworks.- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
