Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry.

This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission ' To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’ About the Role Experience 15+ years of overall professional experience with at least 8 years in leading IT operations for a business Experience of leading a team of senior professionals Experience of leading the build of business architecture Experience of hybrid set-up (Both cloud and on-prem) and (both in-sourced and outsourced) Experience of implementing and running MES and shop floor systems Experience of implementing IT for manufacturing organizations Experience of setting up and sustaining IT processes Experience of working in semiconductor testing and assembly is a definite advantage Should have an understanding of risks and complexities of operations intensive IT Good understanding of delivery methodology Good customer service ethics Ability to motivate and generate high quality output from teams Ability to work in cross functional teams - Team and collaboration orientation Analytical and goal oriented Effective written/ verbal communication Learning orientation Responsibilities Set up of IT for a large plant operation Strategies and plan for a zero disruption (zero downtime) service delivery Be accountable for delivery of operational support to Tata Electronics business Be accountable for delivery of customer’s electronic security requirements Be accountable of landing corporate IT services into site Strategies, plan and execute all local IT services Team management of Technology teams Budget planning and management for Digital function Ensure security of the entire landscape Plan and deliver disaster recovery set-up for the whole landscape Monitor and improve IT usage and policy adherence Anchor & mentor a large internal and vendor team Specific Skills Create and Build process for the IT operations to keep the uptime of services at 99.9% Service oriented approach towards all the actions/tasks and deliverables Information Security and Compliance based approach in all operational tasks Due-Diligence on all the IT requirements received from the business and arrive at the best possible solution all the times and in alignment with IT Strategy Simple, scalable and cost effectiveness to be part of all the initiates and deliverables Periodic review on operations and deliverables in a cost-effective manner and ensure gaps are addressed Ability to connect to the teams at various level for smooth operations Focus on IT operations with Manufacturing view and ensuring the service usefulness to the business and always self-driven Periodic interactions with team and develop the team to the next level of capabilities and deliverables for the organization.
