Distinguishing itself as the sole platform in the gaming category capable of monetization.

Job Description: 

As a Senior Business Analyst at STAN, you will play a crucial role in shaping the app's success by diving into user behavior and community engagement data. Your analyses will drive informed decision-making, enhance user experiences, and optimize app features. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify trends, measure performance, and ensure that the platform continues to grow as a hub for gaming enthusiasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user engagement and community interactions within the app.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Develop insights on app features, usage patterns, and community growth.
  • Collaborate with product teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Generate reports to inform strategies for user retention, monetization, and community-building efforts.
  • Working with different departments and support to make a data driven decision.
  • Resolve data gaps that impact the fulfillment of the business's functional requirements.

Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. 
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL Big query etc), programming (Python, Java or Node Js)
  • Experience with Looker studio/ Tableau/ or PowerBi
  • Hands on experience with GCP or AWS, worked on systems like Linux, MacOS, Windows. 
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc). 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Experience in creating, collecting, analyzing and communicating business insights from data.
  • Experience working on metrics such as retention, churn, engagement and marketing analytics.
