The purpose of this role is to lead the design, development, and implementation of next-generation medical devices. Acting as a key member of the India Innovation Center core team, the role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership to build high-performing teams, align cross-functional goals, and ensure delivery of robust, compliant, and innovative medical devices. This position drives end-to-end execution — from architecture design and stakeholder collaboration to hands-on product development and regulatory compliance — ensuring that critical-care medical devices are safe, scalable, and market-ready. Ultimately, the role exists to transform ambitious product visions into reliable, life-saving medical technologies. Define and own the overall architecture for embedded medical devices, ensuring scalability, security, and performance Drive system-level design decisions and align software and hardware architecture with business requirements Lead the design, development, and integration of embedded medical devices Guide teams in debugging complex system-level issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term corrections Work closely with project managers to define technical roadmaps, timelines, and resource needs Ensure documentation of system architecture, interfaces, and design decisions for internal and external stakeholders Support continuous integration and automated testing pipelines Knowledge/Skills/Experience: ~ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field ~10+ years of proven experience in product development, preferably in regulated industries (med-tech, automotive, or high-tech) ~ Strong leadership skills with experience in building and guiding cross-functional teams ~ Deep technical expertise in embedded systems, software, electronics, and mechanics ~ Hands-on experience with automated test frameworks, and hardware/software integration ~ Practical experience with agile methodologies and modern product development practices ~ Experienced in leading and interacting with remote teams, preferably with multi-national organizations Personal qualities:
