Job Overview:

As a Content Writer specialising in entertainment media, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, entertaining, and audience-centric scripts for our YouTube videos. Your role will focus on storytelling, creativity, and maintaining the brand's tone to attract and retain a loyal audience base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling, original, and well-structured scripts for YouTube videos across various genres in entertainment media.
  • Research trending topics, current events, and audience preferences to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with video editors, producers, and creative teams to align scripts with visual and production requirements.
  • Edit and revise scripts to incorporate feedback while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Write articles, blog posts, and other content pieces aligned with the brand's tone and style.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a content writer, scriptwriter, or similar role, preferably in the entertainment domain.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a knack for capturing the audience's attention.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas and create engaging narratives.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube content strategies and audience engagement techniques.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with trends in pop culture, movies, TV shows, and social media.
