We are currently seeking Mobile developer (flutter) to join one of our esteemed client's team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS This section contains the required education and experience for the role .

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 5+ years software development experience

• At least 5 years of working with Flutter, Git, and mobile development

• Strong knowledge and experience in consuming RESTful web APIs or GraphQL

• At least 5 years of experience in writing unit test cases or any automated testing tool regardless of language.

• Working experience with build toolchains and CI tools: GitLab CI, or anything similar is a huge plus

• Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

• Experience with Swift and Kotlin native mobile development is a big plus

NATURE OF WORK This section contains the key objectives for the role.

• Build mobile application features, SDKs and platform tools for Maya Philippines, Inc.

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of high-quality mobile applications using Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.

Ensure that the apps meet user needs and business goals

• Solve complex technical challenges, such as app performance, scalability, and security.

Provide solutions that ensure high-quality code and maintainability

• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the mobile app with backend systems and other products.

• Promote and ensure the use of best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), code reviews, and unit/integration testing to maintain code quality and reduce technical debt.

• Implement automation tools for various utilities such as testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerts.

DISPLAYED SKILL MASTERY This section contains necessary behavioral and technical skill stack. • Strong problem-solving skills

• Expertise and mastery of Flutter, Git, Clean Architecture and Automated testing

• Experience in Swift and Kotlin Native Mobile Development is a huge plus

• Fast learner and team player

• Self-driven

• Follow-through the development of new features and enhancements based on product requirements, from development analysis, design, implementation, testing, and operational support

• Aptitude to learn new tools necessary to the task

• Confidence to challenge ideas and directives where a better alternative is present

• Persistence to clarify ambiguity before proceeding to act

• Objective approach to reconciling various software design options

• Ability to make decisions based upon rigorous logic and in-depth analysis to solve difficult problems and come up with effective solutions

EXPECTED RESULTS This section contains observable and quantifiable key measures.

1. Development of high-quality mobile apps that perform equally well on both iOS and Android, leveraging Flutter’s capabilities for cross-platform development

2. Consistent delivery of well-structured, readable, and maintainable code that adheres to SOLID principles and other software best practices

3. Ensure 100% adherence to Regulatory, Compliance and Audit standards

4. Code with high test coverage (aiming for 80%+), ensuring stability, reliability, and reduced technical debt. This includes automated unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests

5. Percentage of app sessions without crashes. High crash-free rates (above 99%) reflect the engineer’s ability to create stable applications.

6. Code that results in minimal post-release bugs or issues, leading to reduced support tickets and a more stable app
