Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor for our Noida office. The primary responsibility of the Quantity Surveyor - Civil/ MEP in terms of cost estimation is to accurately predict and prepare detailed cost estimates / BOQs for Civil / Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems & respectively. Responsibilities for the successful candidate(s) will include: Carefully review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents provided by the client and consultants. Identify Project requirements, including materials, equipment, labor, and other resources necessary for project cost. Familiarize oneself with applicable international codes and standards (Ex- NRM, POMI,Smm7) Ensure all cost estimates align with standards to maintain compliance and quality. Use appropriate measurement methods to accurately assess quantities. Proficiency in working with AutoCAD, MS Excel and related software. Familiarity with cost estimation software(e.g., CostX) is an added advantage Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills. Requirements: 5-10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying, out of that a minimum of 2 years of technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy. Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
