QA Automation Engineer / SDET – API Automation + AzurePosition:QA Automation Engineer / SDETExperience:4–7 YearsLocation:Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Hybrid)Employment Type:Full-time / ContractNotice Period:Must be 30 days or lessAbout the RoleMystiquex is hiring a skilled QA Automation Engineer / SDET with strong experience inAPI automation ,automation frameworks , andAzure-based testing workflows. The ideal candidate must have hands-on SDET experience, strong coding skills, and proficiency in testing backend and microservices.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop automation test scripts forAPI testing (REST/SOAP).Work with frameworks likeRest Assured, Postman/Newman, Karate, Cypress, or Playwright.Create and maintain automation frameworks using Java/Python/Type Script.Work withAzure Dev Ops pipelinesfor automated test execution.Implement test plans for microservices and cloud-based applications.Performfunctional, regression, integration, load, and performance testing.Analyze test failures, debug issues, and ensure high-quality product delivery.Coordinate with developers and product owners in Agile sprints.Required SkillsStrong knowledge ofAPI Automation(must).Experience withJava/Python/Type Script automation frameworks.Strong hands-on withPostman, Rest Assured, Swagger, JMeter.Experience withAzure Dev Ops , CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution.Understanding ofmicroservices testing , mocking, stubbing.Strong skills in writingtest cases, debugging, and automation strategy.Experience with Git, Agile processes, and test management tools (Jira, Zephyr).Good to HaveKnowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.Docker/Kubernetes basics.Knowledge of SQL/No SQL databases for backend validation.Performance testing experience.
