We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with expertise in Mongo DB to design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of building server-side applications and a strong understanding of Mongo DB for managing and optimizing database operations.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js frameworks like Express.js or Nest JS .
Build and manage RESTful or Graph QL APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.
Implement real-time communication systems using Web Sockets or similar technologies.
Design and optimize Mongo DB schemas and database structures for scalability.
Write efficient queries and aggregation pipelines for data retrieval and reporting.
Ensure database integrity and handle complex data transformations using Mongo DB's native features.
Analyze and optimize Node.js application performance.
Implement caching strategies using tools like Redis to enhance system responsiveness.
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, including query optimization and indexing.
Apply best practices for securing backend applications, including encryption, authentication, and authorization (e.g., JWT , OAuth ).
Develop scalable solutions using Mongo DB sharding , replica sets, and horizontal scaling.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using frameworks like Jest , Mocha , or Chai .
Debug Node.js applications and Mongo DB operations effectively using advanced tools.
Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
Document APIs, database structures, and backend workflows for team reference and onboarding.
Required Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Java Script and Type Script .
Experience with backend frameworks like Express.js, Nest JS, or Hapi.js .
Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Proficient in designing and managing Mongo DB collections, indexes, and aggregation pipelines .
Experience with Mongo DB tools like Mongoose or Native Driver .
Familiarity with database scaling (e.g., sharding) and high-availability setups (e.g., replica sets) .
Expertise in building scalable and secure RESTful APIs and/or Graph QL APIs .
Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger .
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like PM2, New Relic, or Mongo DB Atlas Performance Advisor .
Understanding of caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached .
Proficiency with Git and platforms like Git Hub, Git Lab, or Bitbucket.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless platforms.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai for backend validation.
Proficiency in debugging tools and techniques for Node.js and Mongo DB.
Nice-to-Have Skills Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes .
Exposure to Dev Ops workflows and serverless technologies.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong portfolio showcasing previous backend projects or production-grade systems.
