Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer / CI-CD Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level DevOps solutions. This role will involve managing DevOps processes, CI/CD pipeline architecture, infrastructure automation, tool integration, and mentoring of technical teams across multiple scrum teams. You will also support enterprise agility through automation, monitoring, and performance optimization across on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Architecture & Development

  • Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab, Bitbucket .
  • Define DevOps architectures and lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible .
  • Create, maintain, and review Helm Charts , Helmfiles , and Kubernetes configurations (EKS/EFS).

Automation & Scripting

  • Develop automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript for build, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Integrate third-party APIs into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate mobile application deployment workflows (Android, iOS) including integration with tools such as Intune , MobileIron , and Perfecto .

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure, especially in AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC, Load Balancers, Security Groups) .
  • Design and implement secure cloud-based environments.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards (e.g., OWASP , GDPR , BlackDuck , Veracode , Checkmarx ).

Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Splunk , Prometheus , and Grafana .
  • Ensure system availability and performance through effective design and proactive monitoring.
  • Lead troubleshooting of infrastructure and deployment issues across environments.

Process Optimization & Governance

  • Measure DevOps effectiveness via metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, failure rate, and recovery time.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the delivery process through automation and standardization.
  • Enforce code quality, branching, and release standards across the teams.

Team Leadership & Knowledge Management

  • Lead and mentor DevOps engineers, set FAST goals, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Create SOPs, training documentation, and onboarding guides.
  • Collaborate with project architects, developers, QA, and product teams to drive DevOps adoption.

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Engage with clients to assess DevOps maturity and define improvement roadmaps.
  • Present architecture and automation solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support architectural decision-making and risk assessments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including pipeline design, infrastructure provisioning, and tool integration.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, Bitbucket.
  • Strong scripting abilities in Shell , PowerShell , and optionally Python .
  • Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes , Docker , and container orchestration on EKS .
  • Hands-on with Terraform , Helm Charts , Helmfiles , and GitOps practices .
  • Experience supporting mobile CI/CD workflows and app release processes.
  • Understanding of Agile, ITIL frameworks, and enterprise DevOps transformations.
