We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to work with our development team to build software solutions that align with our mission and vision. It this role, you will be leading the entire development cycle, from design, development, to implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead and coach junior engineers, and provide technical expertise in delivering scalable, efficient, and robust applications. Responsibilities Software Design and Development: Architect, design, and implement software applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Architect: Lead the architecture and design efforts to create scalable, maintainable, and efficient systems. And work with microservices or monolithic architectures based on project needs. Development: Implement server-side logic, RESTful APIs, database management, and ensure seamless integration between existing systems and the new web / mobile platforms. Design and develop responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular). ML/AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to solve identified problems, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, incorporating relevant techniques and methodologies into the development process. Dev Ops & Deployment: Manage and optimize the deployment process using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS services. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Manage the deployment of updates to both web and mobile applications, using CI/CD pipelines. Manage cloud services or on-premise solutions ensuring high availability and performance. Testing & Maintenance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for both platforms, including automated and manual testing. Write comprehensive tests for all developed features, ensuring high code quality and functionality. Address bugs and performance issues, ensuring the application's reliability. Maintain applications post-launch, addressing bugs, and implementing new features based on feedback. HIPAA Compliance & Security: Ensure all development practices adhere to HIPAA regulations for handling Protected Health Information (PHI). Security: Implement robust security measures including encryption, secure data transmission, and proper access controls. Maintain audit logs and ensure data integrity across both platforms. Documentation & Training: Document development processes, code, APIs, architecture, and standard components. Participate in or provide training on security practices related to HIPAA. Technical Leadership: Act as a technical expert within the team, guiding junior engineers and promoting a collaborative work environment. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Problem Solving and Debugging: Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective fixes. Agile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to continuous improvement. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation and share knowledge across the team to enhance project success and collaboration. Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in backend development, platform architecture and ML/AI platform or products A proven track record of building high-performing, scalable Saa S applications . Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Full Stack Experience: Demonstrable experience working with front end, back end, and database technologies Technical Proficiency: Proficient in modern software development practices, including the software development lifecycle, testing, version control, and/or the CI/CD pipeline Database Knowledge: Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, My SQL) and non-relational databases (e.g. Mongo DB). Visionary in the field of AI/ML with a strong understanding of its current and potential applications. Agile/Scrum Experience: Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Dev Ops practices. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues quickly and effectively. Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work aspects. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective collaboration in cross-functional teams.
