Job Description:
Qualified Recruiter, the fastest-growing RPO in Pune, is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations for a workforce of at least 500 employees. Reporting to the Director of HR & Operations, the Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing, manage statutory requirements, and handle various compensation structures, including bonuses and incentive plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for a minimum of 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Administer payroll-related activities such as new employee setup, audits, tax reporting, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including ESIC, PF, Gratuity , and other labor laws.
Manage incentive structures, bonuses, and variable pay components.
Utilize HRMS and payroll software to streamline payroll processes and maintain data integrity.
Conduct monthly payroll audits, reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist with data for tax filings and annual audits.
Develop and maintain payroll-related policies, procedures, and controls.
Prepare reports for upper management, including payroll summaries, tax deductions, and compliance updates.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
Proven experience handling payroll for at least 500 employees.
In-depth knowledge of ESIC, PF, Gratuity , and other statutory labor laws.
Hands-on experience with HRMS and payroll software.
Advanced MS Excel skills for payroll data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of payroll structures, including bonuses and incentive plans.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
