ELocation: IndiaExperience: 18+ years️ Skills: Java, API Engineering, Treasury & Liquidity Platforms, Large-scale Engineering LeadershipAbout the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned Head of Engineering – Treasury & Liquidity to lead our technology vision, engineering strategy, and large-scale delivery for mission-critical treasury platforms. This leader will drive engineering excellence, modern practices, and high-performing teams while working closely with product & business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities- Lead and scale a 100+ member engineering organisation, including managers, architects, developers, and QA.- Define and implement robust engineering practices, coding standards, CI/CD, Dev Ops, and API-driven architectures.- Own the end-to-end delivery of Treasury & Liquidity Technology platforms, ensuring stability, scalability, and high availability.- Partner closely with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Product teams to align technology strategy with business goals.- Drive modernization initiatives across the tech stack including microservices, cloud adoption, and event-driven systems.- Mentor and develop engineering leaders; build a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.- Oversee governance, engineering KPIs, technology roadmap, and budget planning.- Ensure systems adhere to regulatory requirements and enterprise security standards.Required Skills & Experience- 18+ years of total experience with at least 8+ years in engineering leadership roles.- Strong expertise in Java, API development, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.- Proven ability to set up engineering practices in large organisations.- Experience leading large engineering teams (100+ members) across multiple domains.- Solid understanding of Treasury, Liquidity, Payments, or Core Banking platforms.- Demonstrated success in driving transformation, modernization, and engineering excellence.- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud-native engineering (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Exposure to SRE, Dev Ops, Observability, and platform engineering.- Background in financial services, fintech, or banking technology.
