Senior Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for a senior-level electrical engineer with a strong background in control systems, drive selection, and safety compliance for semiconductor capital equipment. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to handle B&R I/O systems (and possibly Siemens PLCs), and a solid foundation in risk assessment and machine safety.
Lead the design, selection, and sizing of motors, drives, and motion systems for semiconductor capital equipment.
familiarity with B&R PLCs is an advantage.
Contribute to risk assessments per SEMI S14, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify technical requirements, load/motion integration for new and existing projects.
Take ownership of assigned projects, and when required, lead a team of engineers
Prepare and maintain electrical schematics, I/O lists, cable routing diagrams, and BOMs using SolidWorks Electrical.
Manage and maintain product data in PLM systems.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
~5–8 years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation, preferably in semiconductor capital equipment.
~ Experience with SEMI S14 risk assessment, EN ISO 13849, and SIL/PL compliance.
~ Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; Basic PLC programming knowledge: experience with B&R and Siemens PLCs is an added advantage.
Field commissioning and customer support experience.
