Role Description
Position: SAP Functional Consultant
Location: Mahemdavad, Patel Dairy Products Private Limited (Chhaswala)
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Role Overview:
The SAP Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes, consulting on SAP FICO and Materials Management, and providing expert advice on SAP functionalities. This role involves the design, implementation, and ongoing support of SAP systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyzing and Assessing: Evaluate business requirements, assess current IT structures, and identify areas for improvement.
Designing and Implementing: Design and implement SAP systems tailored to client needs and configure systems for optimal performance.
Training and Supporting: Train users on new SAP solutions and provide ongoing support.
Managing and Optimizing: Oversee the transformation required by the software and continuously optimize processes.
Collaborating: Work with other departments, particularly IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive operations.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct system audits and tests, manage system defects, and troubleshoot issues.
Researching and Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with SAP trends and best practices through ongoing research.
Developing Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including user manuals and system design specifications.
Providing Guidance: Offer guidance on effective use of the SAP system.

Required Qualifications
Minimum Experience: 6 years
Strong Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand complex business processes.
Proficiency in SAP: Expertise in SAP B1 Financial and Inventory Management skill.
SAP Consulting Experience: Proven experience in SAP consulting roles.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent skills in problem-solving and effective communication.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of dairy industry processes is a plus.
FMCG Experience: Relevant experience in the FMCG industry is required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, and post-implementation support in SAP HANA, FIN, and VIM.
Ability to prioritize work and drive system solutions based on articulated business needs.
HANA implementation experience is preferred.
An ambitious individual capable of working independently towards agreed targets and goals.
