We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DB Professional with 4-5 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing. You will leverage your hands-on expertise in advanced SQL, Python, and cloud platforms like Azure and Databricks. This role requires proficiency in scheduling tools, knowledge of Big Data tools, and familiarity with CI/CD processes, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work hands-on with advanced SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
- Perform data profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Work extensively on Cloud platforms like Azure and Cloud Data Warehouses like Databricks .
- Utilize Scheduling tools such as Airflow, Control-M, etc., for orchestrating data workflows.
- Manage and work with structured and unstructured data types.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of data engineers working from different locations and time zones.
- Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent activities efficiently.
- Contribute to CICD processes using tools like BitBucket/GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.
- Support data engineering and data warehousing initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on experience with advanced SQL and Python .
- Hands-on experience in data profiling .
- Hands-on experience in working on Cloud like Azure and Cloud Data Warehouses like Databricks .
- Hands-on experience on Scheduling tools like Airflow, Control-M etc.
- Knowledgeable on Big Data tools like Spark (Python/Scala), Hive, Impala, Hue and storage (e.g., HDFS, HBase).
- Knowledgeable in CICD processes (BitBucket/GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus etc.).
- Knowledgeable managing structured and unstructured data types .
- Excellent communication.
- Effective prioritization skills.
- Pragmatic stakeholder management.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent activities.
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's or Master's or Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management.
