Good Hands-on with GCP architecture and design Implementation of GCP Iaa S and Paa S services The Senior VMWare System Administrator shall have strong proficiency in the installation, configuration, and management of VMWare clusters using v Sphere v8.0 and above supporting greater than 5000+ VMWare Virtual Servers. Responsible for leading and managing the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized & Microsoft server infrastructure Deploys, configures, and maintains VMware infrastructure. Plans and manages workloads, projects, and other administrative tasks associated with the VMware & Server team. VMware Administrator would be responsible for handling VMWare L2, L3 tickets and Tasks such as VM Commissioning, VMware Tools upgrade. To provide technical support to clients at all times, and must respond promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution. Develop and maintain operational documentation and specifications on system builds, disaster recovery, and standard operating procedures. Good Understanding of shared storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Fiber channel, i SCSI, and NFS. Manage and administration of Vx Rail Blades & DELL Servers. Primary responsibility to deploy patches with ESXi Servers on time. Drive root cause analysis and provide feedback to improve future customer architecture changes. Drive customer escalated issues to closure by providing workarounds and fixes in a timely manner. Enhance customer satisfaction by responding to all customer filed issues specific to VMWARE & Windows and providing relief either through self or by driving visibility of the issues upstream to ensure they get fixed. Improve product supportability and serviceability by actively participating in new design development to provide feedback to drive increased stability of VMware and Windows platforms for enhanced customer satisfaction. An ability to learn new technologies quickly Good time management skills with strong documentation skills. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Administration of DNS, DHCP, WINS, VMware/Citrix/Hyper-V and related components Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work Provide on-site support at data centre for infrastructure maintenance activities Working knowledge in Scripting and Automation Patching experience in Shavlik Protect/ BMC Blade Logic Work with Local & Global Teams Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. Experience hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage. Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and it’s impact on Pricing. Networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, Load Balancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc. Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stack driver Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Chef. Plan, Configure, Deploy and Operate a cloud solution Configure access and security. Ensure Performance standards by configuring Auto-Scaling Solution to meet varying Load requirements. Automating the build and configuration of Iaa S based solutions in Google Cloud Platform. Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud. VCP & GCP cloud (Certification preferred) Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks. Prior experience working with: container technology such as Docker, version control systems (Github), build management and CI/CD tools (Concourse, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (App Dynamics, etc.) Good Communication Skill - effective written and oral Lead the team of L1/L2 engineers. Eagerness to learn new cloud services and technology Team Collaboration Creative thinking in implementing new solutions
