Role Overview:

The PDQI Engineer will conduct Pre-Delivery Quality Inspections (PDQI) for residential and commercial properties, ensuring they meet PropChk’s standards and national norms. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in civil engineering, property inspections, and real estate quality assurance.


Key Responsibilities:


Pre-Delivery Quality Inspections:
  • Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties, assessing quality across structural, civil, and finishing works.
  • Inspect over 400 checkpoints, including plumbing, flooring, ceilings, dampness, kitchen cabinets, sanitaryware, doors, windows, and electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, NBC norms, and PropChk protocols.


Client Coordination:
  • Work closely with developers and project teams to communicate inspection findings effectively.
  • Provide clear and detailed reports, supported by photographic evidence, highlighting defects and areas for improvement.


Technical Oversight:
  • Identify discrepancies in construction quality and provide actionable recommendations for rectification.
  • Utilize advanced tools, including PropChk’s proprietary Snagr platform, for snagging and de-snagging processes.
  • Ensure all reported issues are resolved before re-inspection.


Collaboration & Reporting:
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of inspections and high client satisfaction.
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections conducted.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech) is mandatory.
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality control, construction inspections, or a real estate-related role.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, quality standards, and defect identification.
  • Familiarity with advanced tools and technologies used for snagging and inspections.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections within the assigned region.
