This is a full-time on-site role for a Member of Technical Staff (MTS) - Backend Platforms Engineer located in Mumbai. The Backend Platforms Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems to support Hushh’s products and services. Key responsibilities include developing APIs, integrating secure data workflows, managing cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data processing and storage. The role requires implementing best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and system security to deliver high-quality backend solutions. Proficiency in backend development with expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, along with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of database systems, including relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) Familiarity with data security standards, privacy protocols, and secure coding practices Demonstrated ability in optimizing system performance and implementing scalable solutions Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Experience in the fintech or data privacy domains is a plus
