We are seeking a Deputy Manager/ Manager, Analytical method transfer who can deliver a developed analytical assay from R&D scale to a GMP- commercial quality control labs for the cell bank characterizations, finished product and in-process sample release and testing for a microbial-derived products. The successful candidate will help us to manage, plan, and supervise projects related to analytical method transfer from R&D scale to GLP and GMP laboratories. The candidate will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams such as process development (Upstream and downstream), quality control, regulatory and quality assurance to set up a technology transfer and assays qualification and validation activities along with defined specifications under the GLP and GMP environments. The ideal candidate should be skilled in cGMP, regulatory requirements, technical problem-solving, method transfer, method validation, technology transfer and laboratory techniques to support routine testing and release of research and cGMP grade materials plus cell bank characterization activities. The candidate will be directly involved in the drafting the technology transfer documents, risk assessment, process FMEA, method validation protocol, facility fit assessment etc. required for the analytical assays and techniques for release and testing of microbial and mammalian fermentation-based process of novel biologics and therapeutic proteins. Candidate should be familiar with analytical assays such as HPLC, GC, SDS-PAGE, agarose gel electrophoresis, densitometry, dd-PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA, UV-Visible spectrophotometry, and western-Blot etc. and microbiological techniques such as BET, BioBioburdend Sterility testing. The position may include some assistance in cell bank testing and release under the cGMP norms and third-party collaboration for external testing whenever required. Work activities will also include authoring and reviewing research studies, compiling experimental data, and contributing to protocols and study reports and/or publications with minimal supervision. It is expected that the candidate will work as a member of the method transfer and method validation team while accomplishing the timely and successful completion of process transfer with assignments and reporting of unexpected technical issues. We are searching for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are comfortable multitasking and working both with a team and independently on various aspects of projects related to microbialderived products.
