Role & Responsibilities:

• Database Management:

Install, configure, and upgrade MongoDB databases.
Monitor database performance, availability, and health, and implement improvements as needed.
Perform database backup and recovery procedures.
Manage database users and permissions.

• Optimization and Tuning:

Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
Perform capacity planning and ensure efficient use of database resources.
Conduct regular performance tuning and load testing.

• Security:

Implement and manage database security measures, including encryption, authentication, and access controls.
Monitor and ensure compliance with data security standards and policies.

• Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide support for database-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database schemas and queries.
Assist in the development and implementation of database policies and procedures.

• Automation and Scripting:

Develop and maintain scripts for database automation tasks, such as backups, monitoring, and maintenance.
Utilize automation tools to streamline database operations.

• Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Document and communicate database changes to relevant stakeholders.
